"It Girl" thank you

In June, I was the It Girl on one of my groups. I got to pick a theme (I chose mermaids) and received gobs of lovely mermaid art.

I've made ATCs to thank everyone who sent to me. This is a colorwash background; stamp by Kimberly Crick for Third Coast Designs, with silver microbeads.

It Girl present for Annie M.

Annie was the "It Girl" for July on Art Venturers--and I am very late in sending this to her!

Her theme was faces. These are oversized decorative clips, like clothespins. I sanded and painted them, stamped the faces on tissue paper and adhereed with gel medium. The one on the right is covered in clear microbeads so it was difficult to get a good picture of it.

I made these into magnets for Annie. Hope she likes them.

Art Venture decos

And these are pages from Carol C's and Carol S's decos on the Art Venture group.

Catching up with decos

I've been traveling and a bit under the weather, not to mention swamped at work...so not too much from me on the art front lately, sniff, sniff! But I did manage to get a little bit caught up, so here are some posts.

I'm participating in two different deco book swaps. The pics in this post are from the Next Generation group. These are pages for Shelley and Annie's books.

NGS Lottery

OK, so I blew it and never got these pieces done for the lottery on NGS. I'm sending them to Rena (fairies) and Annette (blue ATC) anyway. I'm actually ahead of the game for this month with the "Wanted Woman" tag.

Stampsmith Card

Here's a relatively quick card featuring Tatania from The Stampsmith, some microbeads, and a Cuttlebug-embossed background.

New deco pages

Had a chance to work on two decos this week. The bottom set of pages here are Karen's for the Art Venture group; the top set is Shirley's from NGS.
